2nd Place Winner of the 2022 Georgia National Fair Pearson Farm Pecan Recipe Contest.
INGREDIENTS:
1 pound fresh mushroom buttons
1/2 cup butter
1 cup finely chopped green onions
1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
1 1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup chopped Pearson Farm Pecans
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove stems from mushrooms, melt butter. Place mushroom caps on a baking sheet. In a large skillet, pour the melted butter, green onions, garlic and chopped stems. Cook for 3 minutes. Stir in bread crumbs, cheddar cheese, chopped Pearson Farm Pecans, salt and pepper. Take off the heat and fill mushroom caps. Bake for 22 minutes. Serve hot!
