3rd Place Winner of the 2022 Georgia National Fair Pearson Farm Pecan Recipe Contest.

Ingredients

Brie Cup

1- 1.9 oz package phyllo dough cups

1/2- 4.5 oz package brie cheese

Bourbon Praline Pecan Candy

1/4 cup margarine or butter

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

3 tablespoons bourbon

1 cup Pearson  Farm Pecans, chopped

Instructions

In a heavy saucepan, bring to a boil the butter, sugar, and bourbon.  Boil for 3 minutes, then take the sauce pan off the heat.  After the mixture cools for 2 minutes, add the chopped pecans and stir the mixture.  Let cool until thick, but still a bit warm.

Cut the brie cheese into small cubes and place one cube in each of the phyllo cups.  Spoon the pecan mixture on top of each cup. (You may have some of the praline candy mixture left over.)  

Let the cups cool to room temperature and then serve.
