PECAN PIE COBBLER
*Blue Ribbon Winner of Pearson Farm Pecan Recipe Contest at 2019 Georgia National Fair- Laura Black*
6 Tablespoons butter. Please don't substitute!
1 cup Pearson Farm Pecans
1 1/2 cups self rising flour
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
2/3 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar
1 1/2 cups hot water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add butter to a 9 x 13 inch pan or baking dish and melt in the oven. Sprinkle pecans over melted butter. In a bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, milk and vanilla. Stir to combine. Pour batter over butter and pecans. DO NOT MIX. Sprinkle brown sugar over the batter. DO NOT STIR. Pour hot water over the top of the whole dish. DO NOT STIR.
Bake 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
