These delicious spiced pecans won 3rd Place in the Pearson Farm Pecan Recipe Contest at the 2025 Georgia National Fair. The recipe is super easy and the pecans and the perfect mix of sweet and spicy. We know you will enjoy them!
Ingredients:
3 cups of pecan halves or pieces 3 Tbsp vegetable oil
3 Tbsp corn syrup 3/4 tsp madras curry powder
1 tsp garam masala spice blend 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp cinnamon 1 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a gallon bag, combine pecans, oil, corn syrup, curry, garam masala, cayenne, cinnamon, sugar, and salt.
- Toss until pecans are thoroughly coated.
- Spread in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Cool completely.
