Six years ago, my boyfriend at the time now husband, went to the local state fair where they’re known to make homemade pies. That year, we tried their chocolate pecan pie and it was a hit for the both of us! Little did we know it was their last year baking that pie. We tried locating something local but had no luck. For Valentine’s Day, I thought I’d look and tirelessly, I came across Pearson Farms and saw the positive reviews that I had to try. Upon receiving this beautiful looking pie, I was so excited, it looked delicious, the pie was well wrapped that the crust wasn’t broken, it was reminiscent to when we first had our pie. When I was able to finally give the gift, we nearly had tears of joy as it took us back to that night at the fair. The pie was fresh and so yummy tasting! Thank you Mary’s Kitchen as we were reunited with our favorite dessert that I can’t wait to have another one :yum:.

Great pie as usual. However I miss the lemon pecan, my personal favorite!
