We toast tens of thousands of pecans every year in Mary's Kitchen. Toasted pecans are used in many of our Signature Flavors, Cakes and Pies. We know that toasting enhances the pecan flavor, gives pecans a crunchy texture and when you're adding a coating to the pecans, the coating will stick better.
