Holiday Time Is Nuts

Holiday Time Is Nuts

I was in the store this past weekend and when looking at the shelf, I did a cartoon double take. I closed then rubbed my eyes, and when they opened again I was still seeing the same thing – Christmas decorations!Call me old school but isn't September just a little bit too early to start thinking about the holidays? After some additional consideration I thought that this was a great time to start planning. While I still believe that it IS too early to be worrying about Christmas, I realized that Halloween is just about 45 days away. Thanksgiving is a month after that and that is the start of the full-fledged holiday party season. The time to start planning is now.So to get your creative culinary juices flowing, I thought I would give you a couple of quick seasonal suggestions.

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
