Developed in Peach County, Georgia, the Sunland variety is a new standout at Pearson Farm.  This variety’s tolerance for cold and low chill requirement helped ensure its survival this year.  Sunland Peaches are similar to Harvesters, a more common freestone variety, in shape, size and color.  We are thrilled to be able to bring this peach to your door this year!

Shipping Details

We ship peaches Monday-Wednesday. Please call the farm for special shipping requests.

Agricultural regulations prevent the shipping of peaches to California and Arizona.

Due to the perishable nature of our Sweet Georgia Peaches, you must select 2nd Day Air if shipping to the following states: CT, NY, RI, MA, NH, VT, ME, MN, ND, SD, NE, NM, CO, UT, NV, WY, MT, ID, OR and WA.

If you are interested in having peaches ship to Hawaii or Alaska, we are happy to accommodate. Please give us a call at (888) 423-7374 so we can discuss the shipping options available to you.

Peach Care

  • In order for your peaches to ripen properly, do not place them in the refrigerator.
  • Simply put them on your counter at room temperature until they reach your desired ripeness.
  • For faster ripening, place peaches in a brown paper bag on kitchen counter.
  • Once your peaches have reached your desired ripeness, then and only then can you place them in the refrigerator.
  • Upon being placed in the refrigerator, they should last an additional week or so.
  • For maximum flavor, allow your peaches to reach room temperature before eating (about 30 minutes).
  • Once your peaches are sliced, you can add a few dashes of lemon juice or coat with a citric acid solution to prevent excessive browning.
